Concrete Form Carpenter (Day Shift)

About the Role

Responsible for building and installing forms used to shape concrete structures. Duties include measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork, setting forms in place, and ensuring they are level and secure before pours. Works with finishers and crew to deliver accurate, high-quality results. Must have knowledge of tools, materials, and construction techniques, plus the ability to read plans and follow job site safety procedures.

Pay Range

$20–$30 per hour depending on experience and expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Build, set, and strip wood and metal forms for commercial and industrial concrete (slabs, footings, walls, sidewalks, and curbs)
• Read plans and layouts; take accurate measurements; set grades and verify level
• Install rebar and mesh; assist with concrete placement, vibration, and finishing as needed
• Complete punch-list items, form adjustments, and repairs
• Safely operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, vibrators)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant jobsite
• Work with the Crew Lead to meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations

What You Bring

• We are looking for candidates with concrete experience — this is required for the position.
• Comfortable with hand tools and power trowels; can read a tape and follow layout
• Physically able to lift 50–80 lbs, kneel/squat, and work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Safety-first mindset (PPE, awareness of weather/mix conditions and site hazards)

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

• Blueprint/layout experience, rebar tying, finishing skills
• OSHA-10, skid steer/telehandler experience

Schedule

• Day shift (Mon–Fri), occasional overtime as needed
• Local projects across Western Kentucky
